About Remedio

Remedio is a cybersecurity company that leads the Device Posture Management space for enterprise organizations.

We detect and remediate misconfigurations, vulnerabilities, and hardening issues in real time, automatically, with instant rollback and no downtime.

After years of profitability, we raised $65M to deepen the platform into areas such as vulnerability management and expand it with additional capabilities.

We're looking for a Senior Infra & Test Automation Engineer to join us!

What does the Automation team do?

Our Automation team builds and maintains the core infrastructure that powers Remedio's testing and development workflows.

This includes designing and managing multi-platform VM environments across Windows, Linux, and macOS, orchestrating infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP, and developing tools to interact with and extract data from our sensors deployed across diverse endpoint environments.

The team also owns CI/CD processes in collaboration with our DevOps team, ensuring smooth and reliable delivery pipelines from development through to production.

As a cross-companyave a wid team, we he impact - we build the infrastructure and testing frameworks that other teams rely on daily, and we guide and support engineers across the organization in using them to write effective, reliable tests.

The team ensures that every feature we ship - from configuration remediation to vulnerability patching - is rigorously tested at scale against real-world device conditions before reaching our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and execute regression/component/e2e tests to ensure product quality at scale.
  • Expand and manage the testing matrix, including adding and configuring new operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS and network appliances).
  • Continuously improve and maintain automated test suites to support complex test scenarios in high-scale environments.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to ensure timely, reliable, high-quality releases.
  • Monitor, debug, and optimize test execution across large numbers of machines.
  • Bring creative and elegant solutions to complex testing challenges.
  • Develop tools that will automate manual work

Requirements

  • 7+ years developing automated testing in Python, including 3+ years owning the design of test frameworks- fixtures, runners, shared libraries, and the patterns other engineers build on.
  • Deep Pytest expertise: you've built plugins, custom hooks, and conftest architectures, and can make and defend design decisions
  • 4+ years architecting and operating test infrastructure on a major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure): provisioning environments, managing cost/scale, and building the systems others run their tests against.
  • 4+ years with CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar), including designing pipelines and the surrounding release/quality gates - not just maintaining them.
  • Expert debugging across the full stack - backend/APIs, UI, and system-level - with a track record of root-causing systemic issues (not just individual failures) and eliminating flakiness at the suite level.
  • Administrator-level proficiency on both Windows and Linux: services, permissions, networking, and environment configuration, including scripting and automating that setup.
  • Proven experience designing and maintaining cross-platform test coverage (Windows, Linux, macOS), including strategies for handling OS-specific behavior at scale.
  • Experience standardizing test reporting and results aggregation across teams (ReportPortal, Allure, or equivalent).
  • Track record of raising engineering standards: mentoring engineers, driving adoption of testing practices across teams, and influencing how quality is built into the development process.

Nice to Have

  • 3+ years in performance/load automation: defining strategy, building scenarios, and interpreting results to influence system design (Locust, k6, JMeter, or similar).
  • Experience leading test-infrastructure initiatives end to end, or acting as a technical lead on an automation effort.
