About the Team
Our Core Sensor team develops the foundational technology behind Remedio’s platform-powering real-time posture analysis, security visibility, and automated remediation at enterprise scale.
The team works on high-scale, cross-platform infrastructure designed to help organizations continuously detect, analyze, and safely resolve security and configuration risks across their environments.
About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Team Leader to one of the most critical engineering teams at Remedio.
In this role, you will manage a team of ~5 engineers responsible for building and evolving the core infrastructure behind our platform.
This is a deeply technical leadership role, and you will drive architecture and technical direction while remaining close to the technology and engineering challenges themselves.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of highly technical engineers
- Own the architecture and technical direction of core platform components
- Build scalable, high-performance infrastructure powering real-time security analysis and automated remediation
- Develop cross-platform capabilities across Windows, Linux, and macOS environments
- Work on complex engineering challenges involving performance, scalability, concurrency, reliability, and distributed systems
- Collaborate closely with Product, Research, Security, and Platform teams
- Drive engineering best practices, technical excellence, and strong ownership culture
- Influence product architecture and long-term technical strategy
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience developing complex backend / infrastructure / systems software
- Proven experience leading engineering teams
- Strong background in agent-based products, security infrastructure, or low-level systems development
- Experience working close to operating systems and system internals
- Strong understanding of multithreading, concurrency, memory, and performance optimization
- Strong coding skills in Go, C++, or similar languages
- Experience with cross-platform environments (Windows / Linux / macOS)
- Background in cybersecurity products: a significant advantage
Nice to Have
- Experience building endpoint security or posture management products
- Experience with telemetry, observability, or runtime analysis systems
- Familiarity with enterprise-scale security environments
- Experience building highly scalable SaaS infrastructure
- Experience leading teams in fast-growing startup environments
