Entering the system from the home screen,
you'll find an accounting of your overall
posture across the fleet. From here, you
can work through risks according to their
severities, risk types, or affected
devices. In this case, we'll drill in on
Cisco network devices.
Clicking through, you'll arrive at the
Misconfiguration Categories page. Here
you can see the different
misconfigurations detected by GYTPOL's
network scanner. The Misconfiguration
Categories page shows at a glance the
amount of devices in the organization
exposed to a given misconfiguration. In
this view, you'll also find additional
information on the specific issue and how
it can be more securely handled.
Here you can see an example highlighting
instances in which HTTP ciphers have
been weakly configured.
And here's another example showing
network devices that could be compromised
as a result of incomplete or missing
AAA configurations.
Finally, this example shows network devices
exposed via use of an insecure
encryption type for enable password.
Looking at the additional information
section at the bottom of the right-hand
sidebar, GYTPOL indicates which
encryption type, if any, is configured on
the device.
